The Regional Business Sales Head will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and managing key client relationships across the Bangalore region. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Cloud Solutions, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and related cloud services. A strong background in client acquisition, customer relationship management, and regional sales leadership is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth targets within the South region.
- Drive the adoption and sales of Cloud products (including M365, Azure, AWS etc.), cloud-based solutions, and other enterprise products.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and client acquisition to closing high-value deals.
- Identify and target potential clients, including enterprises and SMBs, to introduce and promote Meridian’s solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize retention and expansion opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing and delivery teams to ensure seamless communication and fulfillment of customer needs.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve regional sales goals.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management.
- Ensure accurate reporting of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline status.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in sales and business development, with a focus on Cloud products (M365, Azure, AWS) or similar enterprise software solutions.
- Strong background in client acquisition, relationship management, and sales leadership.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions (preferably AWS, Azure, and similar technologies).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
